Basketball Recap: Halle Talbot Key Part of a Team Effort in Silverwolves Win

After losing to Weber the last time they met, Riverton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Riverton Silverwolves walked away with a 55-43 win over the Weber Warriors on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Silverwolves.

Riverton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Halle Talbot, who posted 16 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Talbot a new career-high in points. Maggie Hamblin was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rylee Jugler, who had nine points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bradey Schiffman, who put up eight points and six rebounds.

Riverton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Weber, they dropped their record down to 8-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
