Baseball Recap: Kailua Has No Trouble Against Waipahu

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Kailua ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the Waipahu Marauders. The matchup marked the Surfriders' most dominant win of the season so far.

Kailua's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Waipahu, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kailua will challenge Kalani at 3:00 p.m. on March 26th. Kalani will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Waipahu, they will face off against Pearl City at 3:00 p.m. on March 26th. Waipahu has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
