The Merritt Island Mustangs won the last time they faced the Space Coast Vipers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Merritt Island came out on top against Space Coast by a score of 61-53.
Among those leading the charge was Braeden Rouleau, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abhishek Joseph, who scored 13 points.
Merritt Island's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Space Coast, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Merritt Island will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Cocoa Beach at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Cocoa Beach is ranked 481st, while Merritt Island is ranked 505th). As for Space Coast, they will head out on the road to challenge Titusville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
