Leading Piedmont Academy to victory were Corbett Crews and Chase Taylor. Crews almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 18 rebounds, while Taylor scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Crews is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Moss, who scored eight points.
Piedmont Academy's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-18. As for St. George's, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Piedmont Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brentwood is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for St. George's, they will challenge the Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. John Hancock Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
