Tamarac has gone 9-1 against Hoosick Falls recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bengals will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tamarac comes in on eight and Hoosick Falls on three.
On Monday, it was close, but Tamarac sidestepped Niskayuna for a 5-4 win. Those five runs were actually the fewest the Bengals have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
Erin Lee and Makenna Ashe did most of the damage at the plate: Lee went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Ashe got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Ashlynn Tomaro, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Hoosick Falls ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top against Saratoga Central Catholic by a score of 8-5.
Kennedy Boisvert made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That double was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lily Parent, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Izabella Stefanovich was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI.
Hoosick Falls' victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Tamarac, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
Tamarac beat Hoosick Falls 7-4 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Will the Bengals repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
