The Catasauqua Rough Riders suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 52-30 walloping at the hands of Saucon Valley. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Catasauqua has scored all season.
Saucon Valley was led to victory by Braden Weiss and Jack Robertson. Weiss scored 11 points, while Robertson dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Caleb Grim, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Catasauqua's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Saucon Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catasauqua the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Kutztown at 6:45 p.m. on January 16th. Saucon Valley will take on Palmerton at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.
