Meanwhile, Royalton-Hartland also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to the Hornets by a score of 57-49. Royalton-Hartland has struggled against the Hornets recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Akron's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Royalton-Hartland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
Akron didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Rams in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 44-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Akron since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
