Frankfort got themselves on the board against Shawnee two weeks ago, but Shawnee never followed suit. Frankfort were fully in charge, breezing past Shawnee 56-0. Followers of Frankfort probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Holy Cross as they fell 18-21 to Kentucky Country Day last Thursday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Frankfort's win lifted them to 4-3 while Holy Cross's defeat dropped them down to 4-4. We'll see if Frankfort's success rolls on or if Holy Cross are able to steal their positive momentum.
