The Parker Thundering Herd have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 24 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Carver Birmingham 66-24 at home. Winning may never get old, but Parker sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Teralyn Hill continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Janiya Mines, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Parker is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Carver Birmingham, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parker won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ramsay on December 29, 2023. As for Carver Birmingham, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wenonah at 6:00 p.m. Wenonah is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
