Britt Pipkin and Damian Hurta provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Carolina Academy. The connection went for 96 yards, the longest such play in SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) this season.
Coastal Christian Prep extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Ridge Christian Academy, 54-8. The victory was the fifth in a row for Coastal Christian Prep.
Tucker Trask put up the best numbers through the air as Beaufort Academy lost to Henry Academy. He finished with a total of 10 completions for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Trask's favorite target this week was Clay Melville, who caught five passes for 64 yards.
Rashae Bey was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 29 carries, he ran for 372 yards as St. John's Christian Academy lost to the Bobcats. Teammate Bobby Winters added to the ground attack by rushing for 11 yards.
Hurta was the best wideout in SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) this week as the Cavaliers fell to Carolina Academy. Hurta tallied four receptions for 151 yards. Jalen Ward helped St. John's Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 19 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Cameron Barrett of J.W. Myers' team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1631. He has also thrown 23 touchdowns. On the ground, St. John's Christian Academy's Bey has rushed for 2261 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Hurta. The St. John's Christian Academy star has 27 catches for 728 yards.
Reyn Robinson has rushed for 992 yards on 141 carries so far this year.
Charleston Collegiate led the league in scoring this week after putting up 74 points on James Island Christian.
