The St. Francis Spartans posted their biggest victory since November 14, 2023 on Tuesday. They blew past Resurrection 45-25. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Francis.
Among those leading the charge was Natalie Doyle, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was T?a Rubino, who scored five points along with five rebounds and four steals.
St. Francis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Resurrection, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Francis will face off against De La Salle at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. De La Salle will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 330th, while St. Francis is ranked 88th). As for Resurrection, they will head out on the road to face off against Rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
