The Robinson Maroons''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They slipped by Richland County 36-35. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Robinson's six-point performance the matchup before.
Reese Johnson was the offensive standout of the match as he threw for 302 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Julian Parker did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 104 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Robinson's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 3-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.3 points per game. As for Richland County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Robinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Richland County is also done with their season.
