Baseball Recap: Eunice Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Eunice took on Wink on Thursday. The Eunice Cardinals fell just short of the Wink Wildcats by a score of 4-3.

Eunice saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tysen Jones, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Eunice's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wink, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

While Eunice had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
