The Mountain View Mavericks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Middleton, falling 70-20. Mountain View was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.
Among those leading the charge was Elsie Wyatt, who scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Middleton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robynn Flowers, who scored 11 points.
Mountain View bumped their record down to 1-7 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Middleton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Owyhee the next time they take the court. Middleton will head out to face Owyhee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Mountain View will host them at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th.
