Violet Moyao made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Moyao was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, McQueen got a massive performance out of Vanessa Bein, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Ashlyn Guber was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
McQueen hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive matches.
McQueen has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.
