South Atlanta has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Washington Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Atlanta will be strutting in after a victory while Washington will be coming in after a loss.
South Atlanta has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Therrell with a sharp 60-36 win on Tuesday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Atlanta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bol Deng, who scored 15 points. Isaac Benton was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Meanwhile, Washington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Spencer 65-29.
The losses dropped South Atlanta to 4-2 and Therrell to 1-4.
South Atlanta didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Washington in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 64-60 win.
