While losing is never fun, Jordan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 647th, while Seven Lakes is ranked 83rd).
Seven Lakes was led to victory by Justice Carlton and Madison Carlton. Carlton scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and three steals, while Carlton dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Carlton hasn't dropped below 15 points for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Caitlyn Quintero, who scored 14 points.
Jordan has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season. As for Seven Lakes, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 24-8.
Jordan will be playing at home against Katy Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Katy Taylor is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road. As for Seven Lakes, they will face off against Paetow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
