Leading Wayne County to victory were Justice Bell and Cayman Camfield. Bell went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 1 assist, while Camfield scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Camfield is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sayler Skelton, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Huntland's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Wayne County, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.
Huntland will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eagleville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Hornets in Tennessee (the Eagles are ranked 136th, while the Hornets are ranked 308th). As for Wayne County, they will head out on the road to take on the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
