Perth Amboy extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 4-4. They put the hurt on the Piscataway Chiefs with a sharp 16-6 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.
Jaslyn Collado made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. Collado was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Izabella Pardo, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Gabriella Reyes was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

As for Piscataway, they now have a losing record of 3-4. They have struggled against Perth Amboy recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
On Piscataway's side, Julianna Mena was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Mena is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Papenberg, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.
Looking ahead, Perth Amboy will head out to take on Wardlaw Hartridge at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Piscataway, they will face off against Edison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
