The Kiel Raiders will challenge the Ozaukee Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Kiel is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Kiel's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Sheboygan Falls with a sharp 10-0 win. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.
Colton Schaefer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aaron Stephany, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ozaukee). They blew past Sheboygan Area Lutheran 13-3 on Thursday. The Warriors not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 24, 2025 (when they won 11-0).
Like Kiel, Ozaukee also got a great game from a two-way player: Mason Schroeder. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Schroeder was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ozaukee got a massive performance out of Colton Dybul, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Dybul also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Colter Zimdars, who went 4-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
Ozaukee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Kiel's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Ozaukee, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-10.
Ozaukee's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kiel has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .469. It's a different story for Ozaukee, though, as they've only averaged .312.
