The Shadow Creek Sharks won the last time they faced the Alief Elsik Rams, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Shadow Creek came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rams and snuck past 57-54. With that win, Shadow Creek brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shadow Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Da'niyah Lewis, who scored 18 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Lewis also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyndall Drones, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Shadow Creek is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season. As for Alief Elsik, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-18.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Alvin the next time they take the court. Shadow Creek will host the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
