While Lincoln's win against Pioneer wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Mustangs 12-11. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.

Eva Vasquez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. Vasquez was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2025.

In other batting news, Olivia Diaz was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Alaia Carbajal, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Lincoln was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They are 7-3 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Lincoln's record now sits at 8-11. As for Pioneer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
