Box Elder is a perfect 10-0 against Viewmont since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bees will head out to face off against the Vikings at 3:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Box Elder comes in on 12 and Viewmont on three.
Box Elder is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Clearfield, who was ranked 15th at the time (Box Elder was ranked fourth). The Bees put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 12-2 win on Tuesday. The Bees might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Box Elder let Kailee Hall and Madeline Jeppsen run wild. Hall fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Jeppsen got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Hall a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Izibel Mason, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Box Elder hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 11 consecutive games.
While Viewmont didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Olympus by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday.
London Dickerson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Betty Cluff and Olivia McGarvey did most of the damage at the plate: Cluff got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while McGarvey went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Box Elder's record is now 12-0. As for Viewmont, their record now sits at 6-4.
Box Elder's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's contest. The Bees have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Viewmont, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Box Elder continue to outrun the ball?
Everything went Box Elder's way against Viewmont when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Box Elder made off with a 17-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bees since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
