It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Osmond/Randolph Hawks ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They managed a 34-29 victory over Lutheran-Northeast.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Osmond/Randolph to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ella Scott, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. It was the first time this season that Scott pulled down eight or more rebounds. Kaleigh Miller was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Osmond/Randolph has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-15 record this season. As for Lutheran-Northeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.
Osmond/Randolph won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Norfolk Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Norfolk Catholicpresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Osmond/Randolph in Nebraska (Norfolk Catholic is ranked 55th, while Osmond/Randolph is ranked 237th). Lutheran-Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
