The Amplus Academy Archers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 80-11 defeat at the hands of Somerset Academy Losee. Amplus Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-2.
Despite the loss, Amplus Academy still got an impressive performance from Jacob Cahill, who scored six points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cahill has scored all season.
Amplus Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amplus Academy will square off against Somerset Sky Pointe at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Somerset Sky Pointe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Friday. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they will head out on the road to face off against Clark at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
