The Bethlehem Center Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Waynesburg Central Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Bethlehem Center focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Tuesday.
Even though California scored an imposing 64 points, Bethlehem Center still came out on top. Bethlehem Center walked away with a 74-64 win over California. The victory was just what Bethlehem Center needed coming off of a 84-34 defeat in their prior match.
Brody Tharp had an outrageously good game as he scored 40 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Sussan, who scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Waynesburg Central beat Jefferson-Morgan 63-53 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Waynesburg Central.
Bethlehem Center's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Waynesburg Central, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Bethlehem Center didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Waynesburg Central when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 76-72 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bethlehem Center since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
