Football Recap: Paris Starts Season with Victory Against Sanger

Paris had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Sanger Indians by a score of 35-28. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Indians are ranked 526th).

When it comes to explaining why Sanger lost, don't look at Reginald Jones. Despite the final result, he rushed for 150 yards. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Chris Ramirez, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Coming up, Paris will take on Pleasant Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sanger, they will host Pottsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
