Ryan Garver posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He wasn't messing around, pitching three innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. The pitching appearance was his sixth straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Garver and Plainfield will challenge Mooresville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Quakers have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since May of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
