The Atlantic City Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kingsway 75-48 at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Atlantic City as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Bridget Roach, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Julia Marigliano, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Atlantic City's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-14. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Kingsway, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
Atlantic City will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th. As for Kingsway, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
