It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Illiana Christian can now relate to. They fell just short of the Hanover Central Wildcats by a score of  3-2 on Saturday. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won  3-1.
 Despite the loss, Illiana Christian still got an impressive performance from   Grace Wonder, who  had ten  digs and three  aces. Wonder is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
 Hanover Central can attribute much of their success to  Riley Tormey, who  had 15  digs and one assist.  Mia Roux also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  ace of the season.

With the  defeat, Illiana Christian broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 27-7. As for Hanover Central, the  win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 25-4.
 Illiana Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hanover Central, after both having extra time off, they and NorthWood will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
