Windsor has gone a perfect 10-0 against Analy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Windsor has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Windsor couldn't beat San Marin on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Jaguars fell 12-7 to the Mustangs.
Leah Garcia was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Haeli Bruno, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Analy earned a 9-5 victory over St. Helena on Monday.
Carlee Maddocks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sophia Pellini, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Antonelli, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Analy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive games.
Analy's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Windsor hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. However, it's not like Analy struggles in that department as they've averaged .325. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Windsor's way against Analy in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Windsor made off with a 20-5 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
