Basketball Recap: Christian Collegiate Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Christian Collegiate Academy had won two straight home games and Tahj Hill did his part to make it three on Friday. The Christian Collegiate Academy Bulldogs blew past the Ben's Ford Christian Eagles 84-43 thanks in part to Hill, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 20 points and three steals. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Noah Davis, who went 6 of 15 en route to 16 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Ben's Ford Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Israel Kongolo and Cole Thibodeaux. Kongolo almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds, while Thibodeaux went 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points. Kongolo is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

Christian Collegiate Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Ben's Ford Christian, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Christian Collegiate Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 92-57 win against Centreville Academy on the 14th. Ben's Ford Christian has also already played their next match, a 59-52 loss against Amite School Center on the 14th.
