Timber Creek has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Colonial Grenadiers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
With a playoff game on the line, Timber Creek rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Braves by a score of 45-36.
Karishma Ortiz continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. It was the first time this season that she posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Channing Warren, who scored eight points along with seven blocks and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Colonial can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Hagerty 65-28 on the road. With Colonial ahead 42-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Timber Creek is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Colonial, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.
Timber Creek was dealt a bruising 65-38 defeat at the hands of Colonial in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Timber Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
