Adamson and the Jaguars are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Adamson Leopards will be playing at home against the Molina Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Adamson comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last nine games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Tuesday, Adamson took a serious blow against the Panthers, falling 61-10. Adamson has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Molina had to suffer through a rough 76-30 loss at the hands of the Longhorns. While losing is never fun, Molina can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 945th, while the Longhorns are ranked 260th).
Despite the loss, Molina had strong showings from Theayah Guidry, who scored 13 points, and Keirra Hunter, who scored 12 points.
Adamson dropped their record down to 2-15 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.4 points per game. As for Molina, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.
Adamson was taken down by the Jaguars 48-20 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Adamson have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
