Kyle Johnson and Joe Griffin provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Pine Eagle. The connection went for 77 yards, the longest such play in 1A Special District 4 (8 Man) this season.
Imbler extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Spartans, 62-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Johnson threw for 274 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was 14-19 with 0 interceptions.
Eric Lara was the best running back in the league this week. In 8 carries, he ran for 118 yards as Joseph topped Pine Eagle. Teammate Cayden Delury added to the ground attack by rushing for 77 yards.
Imbler's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 1,799 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, while Griffin has 25 catches for 661 yards.
