The Liberty Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Lincoln County, falling 68-26. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Liberty of the 68-32 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture last Thursday.
Lincoln County found their leader in underclassman Anna Dial, who scored 14 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dial has scored all season. Shayna Redman was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lincoln County, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.
Liberty will head out on the road to challenge Sherman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln County, they will play host again and welcome Riverside, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
