Balkcom also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up two sacks and making eight total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northeast, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
