After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kalida, the Holgate Tigers were happy to have found some success on Monday. They came out on top against Swanton by a score of 46-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Holgate also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Swanton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Peighton Manning, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Gowing, who scored ten points.
Holgate's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Swanton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
Holgate will take on Stryker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Swanton, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Liberty Center at 7:30 p.m. Liberty Center is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
