The Wyoming Cowboys and the Archbishop Alter Knights squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Wyoming Cowboys had to settle for second. Wyoming received a tough blow as they fell 17-0 to Archbishop Alter. Wyoming's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Quaid Hauer threw for 152 yards on 12 of 23 attempts. Joel Hancock was his top target, picking up 67 receiving yards.
Wyoming's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Archbishop Alter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
Wyoming does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Archbishop Alter will head out on the road to face off against Steubenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Steubenville will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak alive.
