Twin Falls faced Capital in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bruins blew past the Golden Eagles 14-5. The victory was nothing new for the Bruins as they're now sitting on five straight.

Treyson Walker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Cooper Thompson was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Dalton Carter was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.

Twin Falls kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Twin Falls' record now sits at 7-5. As for Capital, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 7-5.

Twin Falls has already played their next game, a 17-0 win against Wood River on the 31st. As for Capital, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-2 victory against Boise on the 2nd.
