Pickens had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the West-Oak Warriors a 4-0 shutout. For the Blue Flame, this counts as revenge for the 0-0 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pickens will venture away from home to challenge Easley at 5:30 p.m. on March 4th. As for West-Oak, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Palmetto at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
