Montevallo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They took a 54-35 bruising from the Jemison Panthers. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Jemison's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trinity Bean led the charge by putting up 24 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Bean a new career-high in points. Zariyah Johnson was another key player, scoring 18 points in addition to eight boards and six steals.

Montevallo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Jemison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Montevallo has already played their next contest, a 48-30 loss against Demopolis on the 17th. As for Jemison, they will host Montevallo at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
