After flying high against Waubonsie Valley on Monday, Neuqua Valley came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Tuesday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Neuqua Valley got a good showing from Josh Repmann, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. That's the fewest earned runs Repmann has allowed since back in March.

At the plate, Neuqua Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Stevens, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Neuqua Valley now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Waubonsie Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.
