The Manchester Red Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Hall Titans at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Manchester has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 439 points over their last six matchups.
Even though East Hartford scored an imposing 76 points on Monday, Manchester still came out on top. Manchester secured a 81-76 W over East Hartford.
It was another big night for Derrick Sheets, who scored 24 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jayveon Robinson, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Hall posted their biggest victory yet this season on Monday. Everything went their way against Bristol Central as Hall made off with a 69-49 victory. Given Hall's advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Bristol Central is ranked 118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Manchester's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Hall, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
Manchester couldn't quite finish off Hall in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 and fell 53-50. Can Manchester avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
