Columbus hasn't had much luck against Lake Mills recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:45 p.m.
On Tuesday, Columbus came up short against Lodi and fell 3-1.
While Columbus had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23.

The losing side was boosted by Gwen Kalafut, who had 15 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, Lake Mills entered their tilt with Waupun on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Warriors.
Lake Mills was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (111-106), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 27-25, 27-25, 20-25, 15-11.
Lake Mills' win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Columbus, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.
Columbus might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Lake Mills in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
