Despite their defeat, Bradford Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Elisha McDorman, who scored 23 points along with two steals, was perhaps the best of all. It was the first time this season that McDorman scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Crotts, who scored seven points along with 13 rebounds and three blocks.
Bradford Academy's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-14. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
