Kayla Ober, who earned District MVP honors after a brilliant junior year. Ober was 27-6 with a 2.14 ERA and 189 strikeouts in 206 innings in the circle while batting .417 with a team-high 45 RBIs. Eight of her teammates earned all-district honors and all of them return.
72. (45) Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), 37-4Glenbard South won the 3A state title for a second-straight year.
73. (48) Brusly (La.), 34-2Brusly won the 3A title behind pitcher
Carli Jo LeBlanc, who compiled a 26-1 record in the circle with a stingy 0.95 ERA and 237 strikeouts in 169 innings pitched. She also drove in 37 runs. Also returning are seniors
