Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Lincoln County extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kalen Bart. The Lincoln County Lynx were the clear victor by a 74-54 margin over the Laughlin Cougars on Friday thanks in part to Bart, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 boards. He has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Rowdy Lloyd, who went 7 of 14 en route to 17 points in addition to five assists and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Laughlin lost, don't look at Bryson Drescher. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 8 on his way to 16 points. Those 16 points gave Drescher a new career-high. DaVinci Faccioli was another key player, putting up ten points.

Lincoln County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Laughlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Lincoln County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 73-55 loss against Needles on the 18th. As for Laughlin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-45 defeat against White Pine on the 18th.
