Last Saturday, everything came up roses for Salem at home against Minerva as the team secured a 64-26 win.
Meanwhile, Carrollton entered their tilt with Alliance with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Carrollton enjoyed a cozy 62-46 victory over Alliance on Saturday.
Carrollton had a senior duo take command as Hillari Baker scored 17 points and Demi Leary scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Baker has scored at least 25% of Carrollton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Ujcich, who scored 9 points.
The losses dropped Salem to 2-2 and Minerva to 1-2.
Salem strolled past Carrollton in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 53-37. Will Salem repeat their success, or does Carrollton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
