Meanwhile, Ahoskie Christian struggled with assists on Friday (Pamlico Christian Academy had seven more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Ahoskie Christian lost to Pamlico Christian Academy at home by a decisive 66-47 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ahoskie Christian in their matchups with Pamlico Christian Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Tyler Berryman, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 34% of Ahoskie Christian's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Noah Knowles, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Greenville Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Ahoskie Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's game: Greenville Christian Academy have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 6.4 threes per game. It's a different story for Ahoskie Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 threes per game. Given Greenville Christian Academy's sizeable advantage in that area, Ahoskie Christian will need to find a way to close that gap.
Greenville Christian Academy strolled past Ahoskie Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 70-55.
